Meet Your Speech-Language Pathologist
Meg McAndrews-Dinkler, M.S., CCC-SP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
I’m Meg, a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Texas, and a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. I earned my bachelor’s degree at Dallas Baptist University, then completed my master’s degree in speech-language pathology at the University of North Texas.
I have practiced speech therapy in a variety of settings, including pediatric outpatient rehabilitation and in public schools, both in person and via teletherapy. I have had the privilege of working with individuals from infancy up to adulthood, evaluating and treating for receptive/expressive language disorders, pragmatic and social skills, fluency disorders, articulation disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Prior to becoming an SLP, I spent years working with children who struggled with dyslexia, reading fluency, and reading comprehension, providing services at learning centers and in homes. I developed a passion for helping children unlock the magic of reading, providing families with tools to help their children succeed, and making reading FUN.
When I’m not working, I can be found spending time with my husband and 2 year-old son (probably out looking for bulldozers and tractors), baking bread, or reading a book.
